Guys, Is this a good sign?

My sister told a guy last night that she liked him--even though I'm sure he knew that was coming because it's super obvious. Anyways, he told her he "cares" but is not ready for a relationship with anybody. Then, this morning they were talking about planning a beach trip in the summer for a few days... I take it he must feel the same way as her since he didn't bail after she told him how she felt? I'd imagine that if he only viewed her as a platonic friend they wouldn't still be talking in this manner? What do y'all think?
