In my opinion even grabbing attention on those sites is wrong. But its not just those sites, women do it on other social media as well. FB, insta etc are used to upload pics and get likes and attention. Single women and taken women do this. I think the majority of women who have social media do this to an extent.
Many women nowadays don't have much respect for themselves or their partners. I think back in the day they had a saying for this like the "jezebel" spirit and this type of behaviour was shamed.

I’m in a relationship on an app used for meeting people (for friendship or relationship). I’ve been on this for years, but recently people have said “why’re you on a dating app?” Like they haven’t read that this app is for both. Now I they’re on those types of sites, then they’re either looking for something else (friendship or chatting),
A relationship/hookup, they have an open marriage, etc.

Now if it’s actually strictly for dating, then either a secret relationship/open relationship, etc.

Same I do too. I use an app called HelloTalk also to meet people from different countries. It’s more of a language learning social media style app (you can post pics on a timeline and send friend requests, etc) and I learnt a lot from the people using it! Hope you continue to find out new things!

Probably because of boredom most likely which leads them craving attention and even cheating.
