i remember being 7 meeting my first foreign girl. she was blonde haired/blue-eyed and had a great german accent. i was a bit young to date but she certainly was a good memory
Not at all. I've had girlfriends who were native Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, German, Spanish, Italian, See No-Croatian, and Swiss/Austrian German native speakers
@nodnol32 I'm aware there's many accents, half my family are from England, I myself am Irish stuck with a dreaded English accent. The example you provided known as "Received Pronunciation" is pretty bad but is definitely not the worst accent out of the lot.
Interesting. I'm from London but not a fan of the London accents myself tbh. I find the northern accents more refreshing since its not an everyday thing to hear one in person lol.
@nodnol32 I can relate to that, can't stand Dublin accents as well as British, but hearing West of Ireland or Northern Ireland accents are interesting (especially Derry/Belfast accents on women, lol)
Seriously? Me thinks you're just desperate for attention and validation. The height of narcissism and solipsism. So those will be your downfall, not your accent!
You've turned over power over yourself to others? Really? How 'bout just ignore them. Making fun of someone isn't necessarily bad. Try having a sense of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself it's a character fail. Why hence my comment. Don't be so needy.
I dated a Niederlande woman a few years back. Her accent was perfectly splendid.

No! Foreign = Unusual = Turn On! At least that should be! However you are 16, boys are weird around that age. Maybe the boys you would want to date simply do not have their brains fully wired-up yet. Dont worry! They will eventually fuse for you!
In love accents, especially European ones. I haven't heard one yet that I didn't like.

you mean turnon? yes. :P I'm sure some people don't like them because they have to work a little bit harder to try and understand a person, but most of us like how they sound.

No. Accents are like races and ethnic backgrounds. Uniquely attractive.

No, it's actually a huge turn on for me as long as it's not a British accent
What do you have against British accents lol
They sound absolutely atrocious, like nails on a chalk board
We have tons of different accents here in Britain. Let me guess, the stereotypical posh one they portray in Hollywood bothers you the most?

I'm not that fussy with the accents lol. I kind of have a mixed one since I lived abroad and am of Asian descent.
@nodnol32 Fair enough, mine has mixed over the years, sounds like a mix of English, Irish and American lol
Unless she sounds like a man then it's not turnoff for ms.

I wanted to know since I've been made fun of for my accent in the past so yeah validation is nice but I also want to know.

No not usually. It's only a bit of one if it's hard to understand her because of it. Otherwise quite the opposite. Depends on the accent as well.
Depends on the accent, and how well I can understand her!! I ADORE Aussie and Kiwi accents, Irish and some Brits.
Generally accents are more of an attractive quality than a turn off.
I have yet to hear a women speak with a foreign accent that didn’t turn me on.

@avaawolf In my opinion, dating a woman with foreign accent would make conversation more difficult. Hence, a woman with foreign accent is a turnoff.
Its actually really cute how they mispronounce things. 🥰
Texan/Southern accent is foreign to me and that accent turns me on.
Quite the opposite for me. Girls with a foreign accent are mostly a turn on for me
not at all
i've dated a russian, and almost a german
As long as it isn't so heavy i can't understand her i dont mind
