I have had a fear of getting a needle since I was a kid and still struggling to overcome it and I get to the point where my whole body is shaking In fear and the feeling and sight of the needle poking into my skin makes me almost faint and blackout would you ever date someone with this type of fear

What is, "needles one"?
I used to hate needles when I was a kid but, I eventually realized that they don't hurt at all so, I don't mind them, anymore but I would still rather not look at them going into me. I do, sometimes and it's no big deal but, I'd just rather not. The nurse/Dr. will say, "slight pinch" but, I hardly feel anything at all!! If I DON'T look then I never really know when it's going in! Usually, by the time they're done saying, "pinch", it's already in!

Yes. The phobia would not be a dealbreaker for me when it comes to dating. There might be other reasons for me not dating a person, but this phobia would not be one of them.

I try to close my eyes or look away

Then honestly it doesn't sound like a bad fear, I mean we don't come in contact with needles that often 😃
