If you don't engage them and they don't know you, it's still a crush and even if it's an aquaintence unless they start to know you personally, it's still a crush in my mind because you have taken no active steps towards it. Even helga could be seen as having a crush for arnold 🤔

But you do make a good point... you could also say your falsly in love too... but let's call that an equal equation because it would be, crush = unrequited love
