A crush lasts for 4 months, anything beyond that is love?

I've never believed in the "crush". Love is love, however fleeting.

Lust, I believe in. Passion, I believe. I'd even go so far as to say horny is acceptable. But this mysterious thing people claim is "just a crush" as if it were fake love is full of crap.

Sources? Sounds like a crock of it. I've carried crushes longer than 4 months, and I was definitely not in love.

When I was younger, about the age of 13, I crushed on a guy for about a year each and then I moved on to crush on another guy because there were so many good looking guys out there :)

i don't think so. some people have crushes on people they only observe and never talk to.those can last more than 4 months, that's not love
