No, thank goodness. I tend to think with my head over my heart- it keeps me from getting disappointed or falling for the wrong person too quickly.
It probably doesn't help that I'm wary of trusting other people and their intentions. Call me paranoid, but years of hurt and disappointment makes me cautious of getting too close to anyone until I see if they actually want me first off (because why fall for someone that doesn't feel the same way?)
I am opposite type sorta. In Japanese culture, we are very reluctant to say the equivalent of "I love you" because it is bred into Japanese children that love fades with time and is a transient thing. But I fell for a girl in my 20s who wasn't Japanese and she said she loved me just weeks into dating along with telling me that even if I become cripple, she will stay with me. So I fell for that in spite of my best teachings and I came to love her and told her in response that I loved her too. Well, that didn't work out to put it shortly and now I think it's bullshit.
I don't care about this lust vs. love distinction. That's so Western in my opinion. It's like a Western person lusting over a job and then quitting two weeks after because they don't like it. That's just weak. I think if a strong person lusts over something, they will stick to it even if it kicks them in the ass. They will get back up and find a way to love it. But sometimes it becomes hopeless and that's the hard part.
About 15 seconds.
Oh, LOVE! I thought you meant lust. In those relationships where I felt LOVE for my partner, I started feeling love maybe 4-6 months into dating her.
No because a lot of times that's lust not love, I personally feel for my self, love takes time to build and grow...
I can like someone right away, but love? For me that takes more time

I get limerence quickly. Which is basically a term for an obession that can last up to a year or 2 years give or take. Lucky i know the difference between that and love. Mine limerence tends to only last a year at max. With sometimes only been 6 weeks. i also do fall in love fast too tho.
This differs... Could happen after just a few days (or hours) of nothing but texting or a few years of friendship.
Needless to say, the first one isn't anything more than infatuation and could disappear just as quickly as it came. The second one is closer to actual love.
No, because I’m not really interested in relationships, and when I do meet someone, I’m never sure if it is love.
The last time I thought it might be, I had to make a list of things I felt to help me confirm it 😅
The joys of being on the spectrum.
I can be, but mainly by physical attaction first. If it's cute

or sexy

But shortly after, then it's about what we have in common and if we are a good match from there
Well, No & Yes.
I had a crush on a girl all through Elem and HS and was too shy and nervous to do anything about it. She was my 1st Love and I let her slip away, and my older brother slid right in a snatched her up.
When I met my next crush/love at age 22, I didn't let her slip through my fingers. We went out several times and I fell head over heals in love. We were engaged and married less than 8 months later.
We just celebrated our 47th Anniversary.
I don't know if I fall in love, but I'm jus a very loving person naturally... I wanna hug everyone I see and love the whole human race lol... Not a hippie but I see good in everyone.. even bad people... I feel the same way towards everyone even girls who I hang out with a lot... so not sure if I even love them or jus sexually infatuated... I'd say I fall in love in like 3 secondw lol
Not anymore. In experience even talking in person has proven faulty in getting to really know someone. I don't know I'm of the mind love is a distraction to reality, it's only needed because of how it's pushed to us that it's the truest happiness the world has. I think truest happiness would be in making 1 person actually smile because you helped them in a way noone else could. Multiply that by the thousands to millions. That's what's really worth it.
Yes sadly and it's not lust it's strong feelings and it always ends up badly
And that what mostly makes me introvert
Someone comes in my life , i believe they're the one that will make a change and then end up getting hurt over and over again :(
That I am... because I know what I'm looking for in a person and I easily find out if someone has those traits or not within a little amount of time when dating. So far, I've truly fallen in love twice. Sadly, neither worked out.
Absolutely not. It takes quite long for me to fall in love. Depending on how good our connection is of course. But with great chemistry it still takes me more than a month.
I knew my husband for 4 years before I married him. That time growing together and learning about each other was so important because I know him enough to know when he needs help and when he's got this and he knows the same things about me
No, that's infatuation not love because you're basically in love with the idea of them and not for who they actually are. Love is when you love that person for who they and something that needs to process over time. It's not just gonna happen right when you met a person or right when you start dating them.
I dont fall in love often but when i do its pretty fast, oftwn from the moment i just saw a guy and it can last for years
No. But I am guilty of committing too quickly to a person before really knowing them. And usually for me, that means staying in until it succeeds or crashes and burns.
No. I cannot fall in love and for me there is nothing like falling in love. That sentence is just nonsensical to me.
No it's a process with me, I learned that a long time ago ✌️
No. It takes me a while to really fall in love with someone.
Yes. I fell madly in love actually with a former friends with benefits. It wasn't pretty
I stayed for way too long, hoping she would come to feel the same. It was confusing to me because it wasn't just friendship and sex. We held hands, went on long drives, she spent the night and slept in my arms, we went on dates all the time, and we were emotionally intimate. I guess I was a surregate boyfriend without the romantic feelings. Her last real relationship had been bad and she was committed to focusing on herself and not being tied down, but the way she behaved was some much different than what she said. I started to get codependant I think. I became insecure and that's not me. When she finally broke it off (six months after I should have) I was devestated. It took six months just to feel normal again. I have never been so completely in love as I was with her. Not even the day I married my ex-wife. After my friends with benefits left I realized that it may never happen. I may never be deeply in love with someone deeply in love with me. I'm learning to accept that. Luckily, I have a lot of other things in my life to be grateful for. Sex is easy to find, love is not.
It has happened to me instantly. So I'm going with a yes on this one.
No. I accidentally made that mistake in 2019 but I learned from it.
Now people might think I'm attached to them but it's not the case; I'm really just trying to spend time with them to get to know them better.
sadly yes.. but after my fiasco.. I rather die alone.
Nope. I'm too pragmatic for the proverbial butterflies in the stomach.
It took me a couple years to go live together with my current partner.
Nope.
Takes years, and only happens if she is a lot like me in terms of interests/hobbies/petsonslity, is single, interested in me that way, and is very pretty.
Yeah, probably.
"Women fall in love faster. Men fall in love harder/deeper."
No. We dated over a year before we were engaged and then is was another 16-18 months to the wedding.
(I really don't do anything very quickly now).
yes, my record whas 1 second.
my slowest time whas 2 days but still have a huge interes from the start.
Unfortunately, yes. Too quickly in fact.
I am in love with the idea of love and it's come to bite me in the ass each time.
Love this question.
I used to be immature about it. Now i realise i'm sometimes just quicker to lust than average. All in all, for me i lust.
Sure, especially if she makes it clear she likes me.
With certain women I can -- attractive and smarter than me. It's happened just a few times.
Honestly, yes I am! I believe that I and some people can fall in love quickly. I do also believe in love at first sight. 💕
Yes i am hopeless romantic just inside my mind lol 😜❤️
Sometimes. Other times it’s more gradual.
Yes I am. Or I think I am because maybe it is just I fall in love of the body.. and after having sex a couple of time I am not in love anymore.
I typically do fall in love quickly. I see all the positive things in personality, mentality, looks. I want to love and be loved back. I guess I figured if I show love that I will be loved back.
No, I usually fall in love about 3 months after I've seen them for the last time.
Yes and then right out of it. Lol... call it lust. 😃
No, very slowly, but I rarely fall out of love either
No and I’m glad that I don’t. It’s a matter of taking the time out of getting to know the person both on a physical and mental level.
I fall in love with anyone who treats me kindly but it's quite temporary.
I think so. I am an emotional guy.
Yes and then suffer 🙂

no but when i do i need to know the person really well so i won't regret it.
Love? no, it's called "lust"
I have to disagree. I fell in love with girls as far back as I can remember before I knew sex existed and I knew it was love and I can literally remember being in my crib.
