What do you think about dating much shorter men vs tall?

I've never had issues with it, I've dated a couple guys that were shorter than I am, and I think it's more of an issue for some guys than it is for me. One guy was actually upset when I wore high heels when I was with him, he was about 5'6", and I'm 5'8" in bare feet, 6'0" in my high heels, he "told" me not to wear my heels. Bad decision on his part, not a way to endear yourself to a girl you're dating. No issues either way for me though, my boyfriend is 6'6". Bottom line, height makes really no difference to me, and most guys, but to some guys, it does.

After dumping the short guy, did you go after the 6’6” as a reactionary measure, or did it just happen organically due to personality comparability?

No, I didn't really dump anyone. I had a long history with my guy (the 6'7') and his height or mine had nothing to do with it. He's always been "the one" for me, and he would say the same. Both of us now measure about 1" taller, I'm just about 5'9" in bare feet, he's just about 6'7" in bare feet.
