Did he feel rejected?

This guy I just met, first asked me to go to prom as friends, but 2 weeks later asked me to go to prom as more than friends. I kind of like him, but I don’t really know him that well, so I told him we should just go as friends, but I think he’s pretty cool, and want to get to know him more. I’m really worried he’ll stop liking me... Do you think he felt rejected?

Yeah he'll feel rejected but if you're perhaps considering him as more than friends some time in the future you should tell him that you'd like to get to know him better. If not then just say you want to stay friends.

Yeah, I told him that I wanted to get to know him better, and we are still going to dinner and to prom... I just think it’s too soon to try to try to be more than friends, because we’ve only been talking for about 2 weeks... I just hope he didn’t feel totally rejected, cuz I still like him.
