Also younger women have many options and it also depends on where you live. In north Europe tall men are very common. But if a woman only wants tall mrn and she ends up being single due to unrealistic preferences but she is ok with consequences, what is wrong with her then? Men don't typically reach peak earning years until 40-50. In terms of resources and provisioning they can provide a woman/family they are at their peak. Throughout all history women have found this more valuable than looks. And far less negotiable

It's not wrong necessarily, but you need to be realistic about the fact that you are arbitrarily eliminating huge numbers of men - including lots of great men - based solely on height - so once you start adding other must-have criteria, it doesn't take very long before you have zero candidates left.
For example, less than 15% of all men in the US are 6' tall or taller, so if 6' is your minimum, you've already eliminated 85% of all men, before you consider any other factors. Most women are not prepared for that and will not be happy, and a whole lot will not have the financial support they're going to need to get themselves between retirement and end-of-life. I'm making pretty good money for someone my age. It'll only increase as I get older and head into my 30s. I also have a few girl friends who are nurses that make over 80k annually. One of them is going to graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. She currently makes 90k and her salary will only increase after she finishes her masters degree.

If the average age of marriage increased, then that means that there ARE men marrying older women. Average age of marriage for a woman is 31. so what does that tell you? This means the overwhelming majority of women are getting married a few years under 31 and a few years after 31.
The decline in marriages is due to a shift in cultural values. Nowadays plenty of boyfriends and girlfriends having kids without getting married.
Studies also show that women in 30s are having more babies than women in 20s, than ever before.

I will clarify things for you. Young women generally prefer older men that are just a few years older. But as a woman enters her 30s, her strict preferences for older men will start fading. She will be more likely to be open to dating a man a few years younger. This is because these guys tend to be more mature and developed. Most women in their 30s prefer a man a few years older or a few years younger. They are not attracted to men that are too much younger or men that are too much older such as in their 40s.
Women of all ages will always be most physically attracted to men in their late 20s-30s. But the issue is that men do not tend to want to date older women.

I don't think a 40 yr old man is the equivalent to a 30 yr old woman. I would say a 40 yr old man is the equivalent to a 35 yr old woman.
I would say that a woman in her early 30s still has dating power, as long as she still looks attractive. But dating starts to go down for women in their mid to late 30s, if she is looking for a young man.
Generally women in their mid to late 30s will attract guys in their 40s. But many of these women do not tend to want guys in their 40s because they are less attractive. Guys in mid to late 30s usually are not attracted to women around their age.

Dangerous and risky leg lengthening surgery is the only way one can get taller, and it doesn't even work 15% of the time. Basically, if guys didn't want a girl, her height preference is irrelevant, and only has value to what extent it's seen as an advantage, or limitation, as a tool to fulfill their own desires - I complain about my height because I want something, and believe women not preferring my height limits my control over fulfillment of my own needs, wants, and desires.
No it's not wrong for women to have height preferences for men. Just like it's not wrong for men to have weight preferences for women.
You make it sound like men fat shame women then that makes it perfectly alright for women to criticize/shame men for their height.
But from our perspective women shame/reject guys for their height and boys/men get back at them by rejecting then for their weight. On a side not women also shame/reject a guy for the size of their penises.
I don't think mocking people for their bodies is right no matter the gender and who's doing the mocking. It's not right but don't act like women are delicate flowers who can do no wrong. Your gender is just as guilty for making rude comments. People are allowed it have preferences but just tell the person nicely. If they get hostile and start making rude comments then it's fair game to be rude back.
As for why men reject single mothers, do you want to date a single father? Do you want to deal with a possible lazy man with baggage? Do you want to deal with the drama from the baby mama? Do you want to raise another woman's kids having them growing up saying they hate you or "you're not my real mom so I don't have to listen to you!!!"? Or do you want to marry a man with no kids so you can have your own that call you mom and not someone else? I would prefer to have my own. I'm not going to say "Ewwww a single mom!!! Get away from me." I'd simply tell them I'm not interested and move on.
Height is determined at birth. There is nothing a man can do about it. It’s not a choice. The ONLY thing that can change that if he gets growth hormone treatment when he is younger. But still that’s quite a stretch for most parents to put their kids through that.
However being overweight IS a choice. Yes some people have slower metabolism rates then others but still it IS something a person can change with discipline/will power. Even the fattest person could lose weight if they were stranded on an island with very scare food. There is now stomach advanced forms of stomach stapeling and liposuction.
Also about being a single mother. THAT is a choice too. You decided to have sex, you decided to not use effective birth control and last but not least you DECIDED to date a scumbag. Deep down you knew the possible outcome but you did it anyway. Now once you become a mother than that’s it. I get accidents happen. But still I’m sick of reckless women spreading their legs for a random asshole and then turning around looking for a “savior”. Bullshit.

It's not wrong to have preferences, but being so rude and dismissive to guys that don't meet a rather stringent height preference is a turnoff even to many if not most of the guys that do meet it (and let's remember that his height is outside of a guy's control), if for no other reason than she is likely to have other preferences which are very demanding. To insult guys who aren't tall is a sign of bad character. Women with such preferences should keep them to themselves.
Guys also shouldn't reject women for being overweight (obese is a different story), but it's not really analogous to a man's height because a woman's weight is usually at least somewhat within her control and there are significant health issues related to weight, which isn't the case with men's heights.
Not wanting to date a single mom isn't merely a case of being intolerant- it's more difficult and many guys lack the maturity or patience for it, and that's before we consider potential financial issues.
For one thing, that was an obnoxious, insulting and frankly pathetic display by the woman. She's acting superior to this man as his height being below 6'1 means that he isn't even worth her effort to type any more. You can have a height preference and that's your business, but being an ass to men about it isn't just you having a preference. That's you bullying people as if their height lessens their value as men.
Why would it be wrong for women to have the preference? Mostly you'd say it's wrong because many women themselves bring absolutely nothing to the table themselves, mediocre looks that they present as being "10/10", no well paying job nor worthwhile education or vocation, no particular set of skills, yet expect everything from life and their partner. They want it all for nothing and act as if they have the right to pick and choose like monarchs among subjects and dish out disrespect and ridicule irregardless of their own physique and appearance. The most ridiculous piece of reality to infer here is that the greatest majority of women aren't going to get that 6'2, rich and ripped man because it is a very unrealistic scenario, an idealistic standard that doesn't reflect what happens normative. And then you have some of them wonder why they're still single. But fine, we can play the shallow game, but then men get to play it as well and ask for girls' weight, and if it isn't to our standard of arbitrary liking we're going to not just dismiss you immediately but make a freakin' show out of it, just to make sure you are truly humiliated and broken down. Why shouldn't people have preferences? Preferences were likely some of the reasons humans survived this long, and the most common preferences (fit, tall man, not obese or a young woman, not obese) are synonymous with the ability to provide and protect and to reproduce, repectively.
Taller men (6 ft +) tend to be stronger and more athletic (there are many exceptions but this is generally true), so it shouldn't be a surprise that women prefer these men.
Some people seem to think that just because men can't change their height, that makes it wrong for women to have a height preference, but it is OK for a man to desire a woman that isn't obese because they can change it. They are forgetting to point of reproduction; to survive. A short, weak man is less likely to be able to protect offspring and if those offspring survive, the genes responsible for the father's height will not be beneficial. Similarly, an obese woman can have health problems that hinder the development of the child in pregnancy, leading to futile offspring, and those genes that led to her unhealthy lifestyle can be passed on to them which will be detrimental for survival.
Although in the modern western world, survival isn't a problem, the biology of people's sexual attraction hasn't fully caught up so men are still mainly attracted to healthy, young women; and women are mainly attracted to taller, more athletic men.
This is just the tip of the iceburg, if you want to actually understand this, read up on survival of the fittest, darwinian selection and sexual selection - these are theories explaining reproduction and they make sense.
I personally do not have a height preference. however, what anyone else wants or needs is them, a lot of guys def have their wants as well and have for a longtime. I think woman just got their voiced opinions more visible these days and a lot of guys don't like it. but in the end if you don't have the same to offer back to someone its rather hypocritical on both sides, like a guys expecting a paper thin model with huge boobs or butt, when he is morbidly obese describing himself as athletic. My preferences are things a woman has control over. A man can't control his height, yet if you're im danger you won't ask "how tall are you?" before you receive assistance. You can always have a preference. However, height is something you can't control, but weight and having children is mostly in your control. So it's completely fair for a man to reject an overweight woman or a single mother and it's fair for a woman to reject a man that's below 6'0. Fat women get rejected, because they're not in the best health since they have bad eating habits and no discipline on what they eat and how they eat. There are exceptions such as metabolic issues, but that's not very common at all.
Single mothers already come with a family of her own and let's not forget the drama that ensues if she has a dramatic baby daddy or poorly raised children. There's also that sense of entitlement that also turns off a lot of men.

A general height preference like "must be taller than me" is normal. Having a specific requirement like 6'1" is very stupid because thats highly selective. You just eliminated 99% of men, including 6'0" men who also are millionaires who have good looks. Which i dont think women really want to do if they think about it.
Also. Height is not comparable to being a single mom or fat, both of those the women have chose to be. A man doesn't choose his height. Thats why its superficial to be so picky about height but not about weight.

It's not "wrong", but it's often unrealistic what most women say they want, which is mind blowing to me! Something we have no control over that is actually a "deal breaker" for some women. And, what a lot of women believe to be true about height (ie "better genes") isn't true, but so many women actually believe it to be. The only thing "better" is the chances of babies having the height gene only is better, that's it. And who really cares about that? I mean, it's ridiculous to me. But whatever, to each their own lol. I have a height preference for women also, however it's just that, a preference, never a deal breaker. What's really important is the type of person she is, not her height.
I think women place too much emphasis on height. Have your preferences, idc, but I hate the girls who whine they can't find the perfect man but then ignore sexy, successful dudes who are 5'5"-5'8" because they want someone who towers over them.

First, height isn't a choice but being a single mom and being overweight are largely choices. Unless that woman is a single mom by being widowed then she made the choice to get impregnated by a guy she wasn't married to. Big difference from being short by virtue of genetics.

Thought out my entire life I have noticed something about tall people vrs short. Tall men usually are perceived as alpha and larger dick size through a woman's perspective. Tall women hardly ever are in solid relationships or marriages , unless with someone around her own heighth. Short men follow the same paradym as tall women and short women usually are all taken or married.
