Why do some many people fear that they are put in "the friendzone"?

What has happened to our life? nearly every "dating-coach" has at least one video where they tell you (especially guys) how not to get in her "friendzone" like it´s the worst place where one could get. I don´t get why and when people started to make a non-sexual friendship look so bad.

There is a problem that comes when you are friendzoned that is key. When there is someone you are interested in, you treat that person better than the rest. That is a fact. You are trying to make that person feel especial over the others and you are the cause of that, so she looks at you.
When you are simply rejected, then that is gone. Back to friends, no problem.
When you are out in the friendzone, the girl does not want you romantically, but she expects the same treatment you have been giving her until now. If you don't, if you treat her again like a regular friend, you are the bad guy. She will also not want you to get a girlfriend, because then any chance of being treated especial goes out the window.
Being trapped between trying to keep that friend happy to avoid trouble and still look for a girl to share your life with, that is the friendzone.
Do you still think it is not something to fear?

I have used the friendzoned boy example here, but obviously the inverse situation can happen. Although it is... Way less common to occur. I think. Don't quote me on that. 😆

The dudes that complain about that are dudes that never wanted to be friends to begin with. They put the pussy on a pedestal. They have fixated on getting laid so much that women can smell their desperation and put them in the friendzone because they don't want a man who's just after sex (usually)

I've had sexual relationships with women and purely non sexual relationships with women and people who think men and women can't be "just friends" are silly.
