Texted a guy after date for another date next week and he said probably! I’ll let you know my schedule. Does that mean he isn’t that interested?

So saw this guy last night, had a good time. At the end he said I’ll be seeing you, said our byes. Today we messaged that we had a good time and I said do you wanna meet up again next week? And his response was “probably! I will have to see how my schedule turns out. I will let you know.” ... am I reading too much into this? It sounded so nonchalant... like I wanted a hell yeah! Or something.. and all he said was probably! I’ll let you know! What do y’all think?

You are definitely reading too much into this... what "I'll let you know" means is that he doesn't have his schedule immediately available to him, but that he will let you know when he does.

The “probably” is what I’d be suspicious about. My schedule is wildly unpredictable so I can believe having to leave it uncertain but Imd at least make it clear I wanted a 2nd date

Does it change anything if we already know each other? Like we’ve known each other for months and have dated before that too but separated for other outside reasons

Sounds like he's uninterested because why couldn't he offer up a time that he'd be free to hang out again. People are not busy all time.
