So if a guy texts you "I'll text you later" does it mean he's not interested?

he had said maybe we'd go to the movies tonight, we talked on the phone yesterday for a bit and had tentative plans Friday night. he just said he's at his family's place.

haven't heard from him since a few hours ago... yes I like him but haven't texted back much except that I'm working out.

what do you guys mean exactly? what do you mean by "later" ?

Well, if you haven't texted back much and told him you're working out he basically thinks you are busy at the moment. It's possible he is busy as well with his family. So by later he means that you will talk when you both aren't busy anymore. Try not to overthink things.
