Guys, Why does he text me everyday?

Met this guy a friend of my uncles. He's older than me 42, has a kid 11 years. High power realtor. Super busy. Has split custody of his kid. He got my number and he was super flirty in his texts. He invited me to hang out with him and his friend one night so I went. We hit it off and then he kisses me and we end up making out a lot for awhile. I told him I didn't want to sleep with him so soon considering this isn't even a date. We were just hanging with his buddy. So after we talk and kiss some more. He drives me home and he gives me a long passionate goodbye kiss and says "I'd really like to see you again, this time I'll take you out" I said "I'd like to see you too" and he said "Really, would you?" And I said "yes of course" and we kiss again. He texts me later and then everyday since. It's been a week. But his texts are short. He'll sent "holla" and then we ask a few questions or banter a bit and then he'd just responds "haha" or "yup" or "awe lol" or answer really short in general so I just stop texting him at that point. I can't tell if he likes me or just wants to be friends or what. He hasn't brought up the date or hanging out again yet he texts me almost every day!

Is he not interested? Should I text him first? I'm so confused

It seems a bit odd for a person like a realtor who is always talking to people to not ask you out directly and reduce his messages to blurbs.

I would guess he is interested but surprised a realtor isn't selling himself.

Over selling if you ask me. Bragging about having a lot of women to someone you are trying to pick up? That's a new tactic.

It sounds like he is trying to compensate for some significant insecurity. Maybe without you in front of him, he lost his script and forgot how important he is.

Yea it was really really weird! I learned how supposedly women fall in love with him but that he drops them on a dime and he called himself a unicorn when it comes to sex and his "skills" he even went so far as to compare himself to Christian Grey. But then later on in the night he told me he's used to getting used for sex. Women do it bc he's so successful and connected and how he's tired of it and while it's fun it's empty. Honestly I don't know what to believe

Oh, that is really obvious. You must go and sample his wares. A guy like that is so special and you won't really know what it is to be with a man until you have experienced him.

At least that is the picture he is portraying. How could you possibly go wrong with someone like that? 😉
