What are some of the lamest and silliest excuses you said or heard, to cancel a date?

I have never heard anybody give me an excuse to cancel a date yet. I would say there was only one time where a date of mine showed up late and then we ended up not doing too much because we were going to go to see interstellar together but I ended up basically watching the movie myself and then I was trying to find my date after the movie ended which was a fun experience to say say least lol. Despite my date showing up late I was still really interested in my date because we were very similar but unfortunately things didn't work out

I've almost never had a date canceled, and of the few that did, I usually knew the reason ahead of time and expected the cancelation. I don't get all shook up over stuff like that; life happens, and it happens to me too.

I can only think of one time that the girl was a flake, and she was definitely a flake, and we weren't together for long. But this has just never been enough of a problem for me that I had to think about it very much.

Years back we made plans right up to the next day to meet , no show, no call as to say why, never heard from him again.
I stood there waiting for 1hr😞
Night before he said all see you in the morning, looking forward to it.
Lesson learned never again ✌️

Somebody told me that a cash register fell off the counter at work and that she had to stay late and clean up the mess. The thing she did not know is that I had already went to where she worked to give her a ride home and they told me she had already left.
I never spoke to her again.

Dodged a huge bullet tho, she was super woke, Tumblr-ette, 47 different mental illnesses type of girl. Shaving off all of her beautiful hair should've clued me in...

I've not heard too many lame excuses personally. Usually just work, school, kids or illness.
