If a guy I like posts a picture looking hot should I compliment him or does that look too eager?

Met this guy in a bar and he’s beautiful. We’ve been talking on Snapchat and he’s my type very much, he’s handsome and confident.
So I obviously want to make sure he’s into me and actually pursues me more than me doing the most so I’m not trying to be too eager.
I have this fear of complimenting men I like in the dating stage and I don’t know why? He posted on Snapchat a video of him in a suit and ofcourse he looks hot but I feel like if I compliment him he won’t pursue me, it’s like he got me already or it confirms I’m into him or thirsty for him. Is this irrational? Help, genuinely just expressing my thought process
Is it better for me to not send for example a love heart emoji ❤️ Or eyes 😍.

That's a loaded question, to stroke his ego or not. Personally I love it when my wife compliments me. Try to be subtle at first, like with the suit try something along the lines of "That looks really good on you. ☺." I'm no love guru but as a guy i can tell you i love getting my ego stroked.

The bottom line is that you just need to put your heart out there and follow it, even if where it goes is outside your comfort zone. I know from experience when i first asked my wife out on our first date i was scared stupid, when she agreed my heart leapt up to my throat.
