How do I compliment my boyfriend's looks?

I am very attracted to my boyfriend and he knows this, but sometimes I think he wants to hear me give him compliments about his appearance. I do occasionally, but I am so awkward. It is hard for me to know what to say, even though I am very physically attracted to him. We aren't having sex, so anything sexual would be inappropriate.

Any ideas?

He is always giving me tons of compliments on my appearance, which I love. He makes me feel so good about myself. I usually focus on complimenting him about how thoughtful he is and how good of a boyfriend he is and just appreciate him verbally a lot. How would you feel if your girlfriend did this?

i wish I could help ya lol but I believe you might have tried all the different ways of giving him compliments. The only ones you haven't tried are the sexual ones, and men love to know they are good at pleasuring their woman, it really boosts their ego. Do you think he's beautiful? Not just talking about the physical appearance, but as a person? If so, then tell him that he's beautiful. When he does something cute, say something about it.

For example, my husband has the cutest bed hair when he wakes up in the morning. And I'm always commenting on it. I would tell him, "Your hair looks so cute when you wake up." It's corny, but its really cute to me, lol.

I think the little/simple things goes a long way. If he's wearing a particular shirt or something and you think he looks good in it, then tell him that he looks good in it, lol. Just give him the same type of compliments that he gives you. Like someone else had said, touching is also a good form of complimenting.

its nice to be complimented about your personality but it doesn't hurt to have someone tell you you're good looking. why don't you just straight tell him you think he's hot? he's your boyfriend he won't think you're awkward. don't think about what you're saying to him because it will sound contrived and fake just say to him what you actually think surely he won't mind

The best time to compliment his body is probably when you're touching him. If you're cuddling, maybe tell him how safe you feel in his arms?

Touching is just as good as complimenting. Instead of words, "feel" him.

But anyway, just compliment him when it seems like a good time. After a shower when he's clean and dressed well ,you could just say something like "Ah, you're looking so handsome tonight, I'll have to keep the other girls away from you all night!". Just little things, nothing over the top.

I feel good when I'm complemented on my eyes, hair, shoulders, muscular build, or anything like that. I feel good when I'm called handsome. I'm not particular about what features I get complemented on, but if a girl complements me on anything, it's a good sign.

Everyone likes the well placed compliment. Tell him you like the way his eyes glow in the twilight. That he has the nicest arms ever. Pick something specific about how he appreciates you, and it will mean more to both of you.
