Boyfriend doesn't compliment me anymore?

My bf of almost six months doesn't compliment me anymore but is quick to give other girls compliments like "her body looks so good" etc and it makes me feel bad about myself. I get a lot of attention from other guys but the person I actually want it from isn't giving it to me. I've told him how I felt and he became angry so I'm not sure what to take of it..

Oh, the passive voice. "Shots were fired," or my favorite, "mistakes were made." Very informative.

He became "angry" is a conclusion. It could mean something different in everyone's mind. "My boyfriend grabbed all the ceramic plates and broke all of them as he was throwing them at me across the room. Then he broke all our kitchen cabinets, and he said, 'You want a compliment? Since you're so good at cleaning, clean this mess now!'" Then I would at least understand, "Okay, so the guy got angry."

It could mean, "He was breathing hard and his eyes closes and his eyes rolled for a bit as he just stood there quietly." In that case, not sure that "angry" is exclusively the exhaustive list of emotions that could explain how he was feeling.

Anyway, why he does that? Could be anything, but I'll say this...

There comes a point in a relationship where people get "comfortable" with each other. That point is usually after marriage. Women see this coming, that's why they're like, "When are we getting married? When are we getting married? When are we getting married? Hunny, when are we getting married? Baby, my neck and jaw are getting tired, I just want to know how much longer I'm going to have to pretend to want to have sex with you every night and blowing you in the morning before work. I think I'm getting to the point in our relationship that I need to know, or else I'm leaving; I can't do this anymore, and my gyno and dentist both agree."

I'll ask this, though,

How often do you compliment him? What do you say, exactly? How do you think you make him feel in terms of his own sex appeal and desirability?

When I say he became angry , that's what I mean. He became angry as in slammed his fist down on the table , got up , grabbed a beer , slammed the refrigerator door shut and said that he's not fighting with me.

Rolling of the eyes or putting his head down that's annoyance. But anyways , that makes sense. It would just be nice to hear every once Ina while. The little things count even if it is just a few words. I call him handsome , say he looks good in black , I give compliments all the time , say he makes me so horny , nice smile. He always smiles and kisses me after I say them so I'm assuming he likes it. I assume I make him feel good. I believe he's attracted to me , or I wouldn't know why he would still be with me but every once Ina while. . it would just be nice to hear. Like reassuring me.

What I'm about to tell you is going to blow your mind. Are you ready? "Men need more compliments than women." Yes, I couldn't believe it either. You can thank testosterone's emotional suppression effects for that. When someone says something nice about you, you typically have a spiked emotional reaction to it. You can "tell" that you feel good. With men, it's still a positive reaction, but it's a faint, weaker, more "numb" feeling. That's what makes male-to-female communication so frustrating. The female response is hypersensitive relative to the male response, and the male response is hyposensitive relative to the female response. The reason some men with low IQs actually use "Wow, I love your t*ts" as a compliment is because to them, they would love to hear, "Wow, I love how your chest and shoulders look... they're so wide and broad... so masculine... it's sexy." Just like that: that's the formula!

AS A WOMAN (emphasis added)]." Why? Because "you look sexy when you wear black" brings him up from 0 to 1-2. Then, 30-60 mins later, he's back down to 0. But, if you use the formula, he's up to 1-2, then he's up to 3-4, then he's up to 5-6, then he's up to 7-8 all within 1-2 minutes. Where is he an hour later? back down to 5-6, but at least he's still feeling good about himself. And guess what, happy people like to make others around them feel good too. It's not rocket science. well, it means that you're not in love with the person you once were with anymore. Instead of them making you happy, they make you mad. They stop becoming the one person you thought you couldn't live life without. They stop being your number 1 priority, they stop looking like the most beautiful person you know, they just become another person in your life you don't want or need around anymore.

Didn't give me a specific reason , just that he "doesn't want to argue with me" its so simple. He says it about other girls but can't say it to me or about me and I don't know what that's supposed to mean.

I am guessing the honeymoon period is over. I agreed occasion compliment makes one feel good. I wldnt say he doesn't like u anymore because once honeymoon period is over couples tend to take each other for granted. U need to continue to observe his behaviour and attitude towards u.. dont let him push u too far
