Girls, do you find it more work maintaining your appearance when your single, in a relationship or is it something you always pride yourself on?

I know this question may come across as sexist but I was always under the impression women were more concerned about their appearance when they were single and relaxed when in a relationship. Not worrying about shaving that often, dressing down, less makeup... but after reading posts and comments it seems to be the opposite. In my experiences my girlfriends would tend to relax a little. What are your thoughts?

I always take pride in appearance and hygiene. Doesn't matter dating or not.
