Is the date still on?

I have a thing for this guy and the first date went great. We both couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. After the date, he texted me that he had a way too much fun and he didn’t think he could laugh so hard with someone. A could of days later he said we need to make another plan and I agreed but he was working that weekend. On Sunday, he texted me that “ I want to plan next weekend, me and you, do something”. So I told him I would love that. We texted but he didn’t really say anything about the second date. Now it’s Wednesday night and since I haven’t heard from him since Monday night. He sorta asked me out on the weekend but we never really talked about where to meet or what we do or anything. Do you think he’s ghosting me now…?

Maybe switch things, and say hey if you aren’t doing anything on Sunday wanna catch up at ___ and have coffee and grab some lunch or some dinner.

It’s quite possible he has genuinely had something come up and he hasn’t been able to message, maybe he forgot to pay his phone bill and the phone company blocked him from texting or making any calls

I know he’s busy but I also know his phone’s working. He was checking my instagram story but I didn’t hear anything from him until just now. He texted me this just now.
“This girl doesn’t even talk to me no more. Where you been”
I don’t know what to say to him… I want to know if we are still going out this weekend but I don’t want to sound pathetic or negative…

So I massaged him that I was waiting for him to reach out to me to talk about the weekend. Then this is what he said “I’m going to be busy this weekend Saturday because I’ve been swamped so much this week.. like today I’m still stack at work”. So nope, no date. Honestly, I’m not a big fan of the way he communicates. I wasn’t happy but I messaged him “I’m sorry you’re swamped. Reach out to me when you’re available to meet up. Have a lovely weekend.”
