How does an introvert show signs of disinterest?

Introvert here (ISTJ).

Typically we don't openly express interest in anyone... at least not initially. We show interest by getting to know said person better, their interests, what makes them happy or tick, and use that to form a connection with them. That's how most introverts function when we like someone. We slowly put the effort into knowing the person and what makes them happy... because said person makes us happy and we want them to be that way when they're around us.

In other words, if we're not interested in you, we don't really pay attention to you. You will barely exist unless we have to engage with you in some form or manner. We might greet or speak to you, but we won't go out of our way to get to know you better outside of pleasantries.

@Jamie05rhs Really? Huh. that is interesting. If that's the case, then 99 percent of the guys I thought weren't interested were in actuality, interested in me then, because that's how most men treat or act around me!

I am INTJ, I tell him what's bothering me and then I wait for a day giving him a window to respond or think and then I block him and I fuck off. That's how decisive I am. I know how to regulate my mind and heart.

This is how our relationship still exists while I broke up with him 4 times and he always comes back because it has never been me who was toxic. There is no end to this coz I have daddy issues ( hard time trusting and insecure too) and he has this issue where he is scared because his ex was a gold digger ( he has trust issues and is insecure too). So we both are scared and we are in love and differently but fucked up.

not sure what your explanation really meant. Well, an introvert is few with words and when disinterested it's not entirely hard to notice but does take understanding. Something like the door slam, if you aren't picking up quickly how they respond or express themselves. Not all introverts behave this way rudely but especially sensitive, or polite ones will peacefully try to let go- or let you know. It won't offend you especially if you have many other friends to be around, but it doesn't hurt to bless/smooth things out with them despite the disinterest. Especially if an introvert isn't telling you 'why' they lost interest.

Sorry, I say introvert like that's one category of people, but there are ambiverts too.. Like a mixed bag people come in different attitudes, quirks and ways of being so always keep open heart n mind <3

The question is a little confusing. But if an introvert is not interested in you it could be kind of hard to tell because most do not show there interest level very well in general. I’m an introvert and my level of interest and disinterest could look the same. If she’s interested she will be sort of open to you and ok with getting closer and getting to know you on a deeper level.

I believe anyone is introverted. I believe people have never developed the ability to create meaningful relationships but I also thing most people don't have pleasing personalities. Introverts have no issue making friends with those who have more of a pleasing personality/ an attractive personality. The idea that people are introverted is bullshit.
