Guys, how soon is it ok to say I love you?

I’ve been dating this guy for the past month and have known him for a lot longer before. I’m starting to catch feelings and he says stuff like “you make me happy” and “you’re important to me”. I know there is no one right time to say ILY but would it be too soon now? Should I wait another month or so? I dont wanna scare him off.

Yes, every time we meet I tell him something I like about him :) I'm definitely gonna wait for the ILY though, as you said, might be too soon yet and I wouldn't wanna scare him off
