Is 15 years too much of an age gap?

I’m 35 and the man I like is 50. Is this age gap too much? I’ve never dated anyone older than me before. He’s only a few years younger than my parents, so I didn’t know if this would seem weird. What do you think?

I believe once you're of age, about 21, you are now an adult who is capable of making your own decisions. If a relationship is consensual then who is to judge. Those who are older and wiser (not all who are older are necessarily wiser) might advise against it in most cases because they don't want to see you get hurt. People are always going to have differing opinions.
I know somebody who's husband is 10 years older and was very good friends with her Dad. I'm 5 years older than my Fiancèe.

I don't believe there is an age on love. No two people are alike and therefore haven't walked in oneanother's shoes. Some may find it weird, but you don't need anyone's permission. If you're not sure or having a hard time knowing what to do sometimes it may be good to talk to a close friend or family member who know you well and can maybe help in figuring it all out.

Listen im 44 and the person i love is 29. Their parents are late 50s maybe early 60s around my mom's age. I can say this i love D*** with all my heart and soul and i been in love deeply in love head over heels crazy about them for the past 4 1/3 years

I'm 16 years older than my husband and he's the best relationship of my life. However, we're also compatible in terms of maturity and in terms of our life goals. If you're not compatible in those areas age gap relationships won't work out. However, if you are then age really is just a number

Kinda, specially the things they want. Many people on their 50s don't want kids anymore and are thinking of retiring. 35 year olds may want to travel, have kids, etc. So it's good to keep that in mind

That's a lot different than a 15 year gap at 12 and 27, for sure.
You are both adults and able to make your own choices.
If you both love each other and will put the other ahead of yourself, then hopefully others will just accept that. If not, you can't force them. Just enjoy your life with your guy.

As long as you are both happy with one another. My parents were 10 years apart and stayed married till death. As long as you truly love one another, who cares what other people think or say.

I will never understand this. Women seem to have a real problem with older guys dating younger women. It's natural biology.

It is if you are not compatible; but then, an age difference of two minutes is too much if the two people in the relationship are incompatible.
