I told him that I want to feel special and I’m looking for something more serious. And he said he will settle down next year, find a real job and then settle down.

Is this BS or excuses because he had another person?

A person that postpone key things in life isn't something you should bother with. He should already have his shit together. If he doesn't keep looking. Same for men, the girl that doesn't have the right value should be bypassed on the streets.
