My boyfriend and I started talking in August of 2023, we officially met up on December 3rd and he asked me out December 4th so we have been together for almost a month. He didn't celebrate Christmas with me, but yesterday he asked me if I wanted to come and chill with him and his family for new years. I've never met his family, but I can't shake the thought on whether or not it is too soon for me to meet his family. I feel like I'm just nervous but for a guy to want me to meet his family so soon also makes me feel like I really mean something to him. I know that guys don't usually do that and I've never been a relationship where I even got to that stage.

Get the family meeting out of the way now, or you'll just fret about it later even more. If he wants to introduce you, it's not necessarily a proposal so much as he wants you to know all of him, and it's sweet he wants them to know you instead of keeping you a secret. He could also just be looking for some backup/support when around the fam. :-D (Or a convenient excuse to ditch out early?)

Whatever the case, I wouldn't worry about it, but I would take it as an opportunity to rip that bandaid off before it gets too stuck on.
