If I'm unsure and still questioning my sexuality, what should I respond with if people ask me if I'm dating, straight, bi or gay?

I'm generally a nervous and shy person so I tend to avoid personal questions, but when friends and family or new people I meet ask me or try to set me up with someone.. and for me it's usually :

"I'm single and not interested in dating right now"
"I prefer being alone.."
"I'm focusing on my studies right now"
"Uhmm I dunno.. maybe you'll get grandkids someday "
"She's pretty but so is he.." - internal thought -
"She's not really my type"
The list goes on but it feels like I'm just lying now

I could just be honest but I don't want that attention from people trying to "fix" me and being judgmental or people jumping to conclusions when I'm still trying to figure it out for myself. I could just keep avoiding but I'm really trying to open up more but it seems even harder with all this.
I feel stuck inbetween.. what should I do? What would you do?
