Frankly, am the kind of person who does not like to judge the book by its cover so I don't assume a person's sexuality even if a girl behaves like a guy, it could mean she is just kind of tomboy and still be straight, no?
As well as guys, you may have guys who just act less manly and are still straight.
We can also encounter very masculine guys, feminine girls, who are bi or gay.
Whenever I encounter a girl at a coffee shop or pub etc... and we start a conversation, in case the conversation goes more personal and we are getting to know each other better, then I would open the "Sexuality" topic as well.
When somebody mentions a term I ignore about sexuality, then I just ask them to explain more about it or I Google it myself for my own personal general knowledge as for I hate to be Ignorant.
That is indeed a very interesting question you got here about people's behavior dear Princess Pie, I like it a lot :-)
I generally try not to assume as it is not really my business
Sometimes some people it is hard not to such the very effeminate man with eye liner or the girl that dresses and acts so butch you are unsure if it is a girl at first
But I don't really care it is their business not mine
Often a gay man or women has a quality or manner that can be a tell. A few girls and guys I grew up with are gay and were easy to spot. As for bisexuals in not sure because I know a lot of women claim to be bisexual when they are not to get boys attention or because it's trendy or so they can attend lgbt things at college. I know a few actual bisexual women who got married and had kids with guys. Like I dont know any bisexual women who later went on to marry other women. I also know a few lesbians who married guys cause they wanted to make their parents happy and so they could have kids and a traditional marriage. The whole sexuality thing can be confusing.
I've gotten comments of other people believing I'm a lesbian because I "give off that vibe." I assume they are referring to my chill, laid back, open personality. I politely deny, because I'm not in fact a lesbian. I am straight. My friend always says "I sometimes question your sexuality" because I'm not raving over guys all the time. If they keep pressuring me about the possibility of being a lesbian, I'll either deny or begin to ignore them.
One of these two:
1) Seeing them being physically intimate with someone of their own sex.
2) Them or someone else actually saying it.
I asked this like a month ago. Most of us said its the way they dress and act and the tone of their voice

You can only tell if someone is straight if you see how they decline an offer to go out with someone of the same gender and are not interested in the same activities as you, you see two women holding hands and talking about their life partner in the form of introducing them to you, then they are lesbians, includes the same if they are Gay; now me on the other hand, I'm straight, so I'm into women. I have nothing against Gays and Lesbians for the record, I just live differently.
Nothing againsts gays but it is that awkward semi geeky style that girls seems to fall for because they know he is gay. You know the guy with cropped trousers smart shoes no socks braces and big round glasses. Yet the percentage of women who woukd date straight looking geeky guys is not that high.
There is no tell really. But whe a guy acts like a girl folding his legs like a lady or tilting his head and using mannerisms id a sign Women trying to sct like boys by wearing baggy clothes is another sign. I try not to judge.
Some lesbian girls have that haircut. The one that's short on the sides but long on the top. This is a pretty good indicator they are at least bisexual.
I don't assume anything. They are people. If they want to tell me their sexual orientation then fine but I don't assume peoples sexual orientation
Some people fit the stereotypes sure, but there's lots of people who don't so it's never really safe to assume based on just appearance or behavior.
If they are sucking cawk they're most likely gay or bisexual
If they're a guy
I agree
Why do you spell 'cock' like that XD
I don’t think there’s anyway to tell. I’m bisexual but everyone assumes I’m straight
do you have a preference to preferring women over men or visa versa?
Romantically it’s women, sexually it’s roughly equal
I've heard a few bi guys say that, i wonder why.
Well, if they tell me their orientation, that's a pretty big hint.
Their behaviors. I have seen enough characters in my life to know that you really shouldn't base what you think on appearance too much.
I don't judge or assume anyone's sexuality or who they are... everyone is special in their own way.
I know that this guy is an alcoholic
Androgenous girls do look lesbian or bisexual. Thats my assumption.
Mainly their mannerisms and the vibe the give off but pretty open and just ask
My instincts are mostly based off the way that they act. If they seem girly or masculine. But you never REALLY know unless they tell you.
I am a lesbian
There is no way to know expect if they tell you, who they are holding hands with, or you see them having sex
I'm usually good at telling when a guy is gay by the tone of his voice. It's really not that difficult.
I don't assume since their is no way of telling unless they flat out say what their orientation is.
Nothing short of kissing comes to mind. I’m not one to assume anything.
Oh, and as of the pic, neither look bi/les/straight to me. They just appear to have different personalities.
if she doesn't want to have sex with me, she's a lesbian
Don't flatter yourself
Well, I guess you could. Just a wild accusation you made there.
@Dreamgrove I know you want me
You're quite mistaken.
@Dreamgrove Im not
I don't like assume and I found no interest in knowing about someone sexual orientation.
Their dress
The way they act to the opposite sex and same sex
When the guy twerks a lot
Nothing, I just simply ask them about their sexuality or if they tell me first
I get this question myself you know if they there by ther actions
Only if they are holding hands with someone from the same sex or kissing them
Mannerisms usually give gay men away. I'm not very good at identifying gay women though.
I'm pretty Masterful, Princess. lolxxoo
You are! Xx
How they act, how they dress, how they present themselves, how they talk about others, stuff like that.
I assume when I see the way they dress, or what stickers they've got on their laptops... It says a lot.
When they walk hand in had with someone. Normally I try not to assume. Only hippie type I assume there bi.
Usually sex with the same sex is the giveaway for me...
It's the way they act and the way they dress.
The way they look, dress, talk and act
Act, dress, sometimes look.
The total package although at times it's obvious.
It the way someone acts...
What they tell me or their past relationships.
Sometimes it's obvious
I don't make assumptions unless I see them act.
Their mannerisms and their overall appearance.
The way they treat males/females.
I never make assumptions
A man having crying is gay
all cowboys are queer
I never assume
How they act
I don't assume
Nothing.
the way they talk
I can't assume that
