My friends with benefits asked me to stop blocking him?

Hi, I will try to make this as short as possible. I met a guy on tinder almost 2 years ago and we’ve been hooking up on and off since. We never text, just hits me up when he wants to have sex. I’m ok with this because I am not ready for a relationship or currently talking to anyone. Im also not one to make the first move so there’s that lol. I could never figure out if he likes me or doesn’t though. Obviously the physical attraction must be there. At first we would kiss and he would go down on me during sex. Now he doesn’t really kiss me or go down. At some long he got a girlfriend. I only knew bc I found her acct and unfollowed him. Right after he unfollowed me right back and sent me a “;)”. Fast forward they broke up. We’re back on our casual hook ups. Sometimes I block and unblock him because I want to end it, but I also really like him and like having sex with him. Today he text me asking if I was busy, for obvious reasons. He made it a point to add “stop blocking me btw” and I wasn’t sure how to take this? I didn’t block him this time, I just took a social media break which I take sometimes. I just wasn’t sure how to feel about this comment? Does it seem like he could have any sort of feelings for me? If not it’s whatever, I don’t think I’d want a relationship out of this. I just like how it is now.. just confused.
