I've written about 10 profiles for guy friends on dating sites, and they all got engaged or married. This isn't rocket science. Just be YOU. I wrote a profile for a girlfriend of mine. Her profile was complete shit, so I changed it. She was engaged to be married within 3 months.

"I'm looking for a guy who is honest, caring and can make me laugh. I'm not really big on going out on the town, but if that's what you like, I will dress for the occasion and make you proud. But for me, I would prefer to stay at home and you and I cook something together.
Then we could cuddle on the couch and watch a movie together."

Bam, guys went nuts for this chubby girl. She's now happily married.

If he’s shirtless or has guns/indoor pets in the pic, I’d get turned off and swipe immediately. I’d find it a bit odd if they have their mom or exes in their pfps as well. If he mentions being an avid gamer, anime-watcher, smoker, or clubber, no thanks. If he says he's looking to hook up, no thanks. If he mentions snap, no thanks. I’m looking to see someone whos dressed casually and just taking normal pics sitting or standing. I dont need him showing off cash or a car. I dont need to see him in cosplay. I want to see if he's weird in a good way or normal in a nonboring way. I like music lovers but not the kind strumming a guitar in between every conversation we have

Ok here are things that I hate on people's profiles: Only shirtless pictures, bathroom pictures, dead animals = I can hunt pictures just make me feel bad for the animal, gym selfies, nudes, drinking alcohol pics, the straightest person here text, the specific details of who is a person trying to find with like measurements like you need to be this tall, this specific weight, this age, no makeup, then stuff like no blacks, if you don't work out for this specific hours you're stupid text, I need of a slut, I am right you’re wrong because it’s my opinion text, etc.

I watched the funniest YouTube video.

A very nice and smart average looking guy tried to contact a pretty girl on POF. Her profile read like this:

If you only want sex, I'm not interested. If you can't manage to string a sentence together, I'm not interested.

So the young fella documented the entire thing. He wrote a great message to her, and she didn't respond.

So he created a new account, and his pic was a super stud. His message was like: "Yo, wanna hook up?"

And she said YES.

YouTube posts 30,000 hours of content per hour, so I couldn't find it. My only advice to you or other guys, is to not waste your time with online dating.

She told me that she was getting tons of messages from a completely different type of guy. Instead of the usual players with their copy & paste messages, she was getting really nice and well thought out messages. She told me that she never even knew these guys existed on dating sites. I told that there a lots of them, but they're just not all that aggressive, and you have to coax them out. It worked.

It's a good lesson, that a well written profile will attract the type of person you're after. I'm sure it wasn't intentional that her original profile attracted the wrong type. And, I'm sure she did her best when she wrote it. What did she do "wrong"?

OK, so here's how it works on dating sites.

Women try to be men, and men try to be women.

Examples:

Man: "I love fine dinning, dancing, moonlit walks on the beach and wine tasting"

Woman: "I love hunting, fishing, carpentry, and cement finishing."

It's all a load of shit. I try to tell women that men aren't on dating sites to find a fishing buddy. They already have plenty of those. Men are looking for something soft, feminine and preferably in lingerie. I'm not suggesting they post pics of them in lingerie, but you get the point. I really think that women are the worst at fucking up their profiles. They think that if they act manly enough, men will like that. Wrong!! But guys also act like powder puff pussies. Don't do that.

This is what a guy should say: "I don't like art exhibits, because I'm not sure what the pictures are about. If you turned the pictures upside down, I wouldn't know the difference. I won't say I'm the best cook in the world, but my dog has never once complained. I avoid dancing like the plague, but I think that's because I'm not very good at it. I think that if I had the right helper, I could be great at it."

Women will eat that up with a spoon. You will set yourself apart from all the dorks that brag about themselves. No one wants to hear you brag. Just be humble and funny.

would tell them that women won't be impressed by what other men will be and that you cannot talk to a woman how you talk to your guy friends. That looks are also important to women and least you can do it is comb your hair and take a normal photo of your face and body (not naked just full body picture). No photos w others espcially other girls, no photos with sunglasses or naked torso photos especially if you have nothing to show off. Dont hide your weaknesses but dont highlight them...

I would add to that, that every smartphone on the planet has a timer for the camera. Also, the best lighting in the world is that which mother nature provides. Go outside and maybe just stand next to a tree. Maybe prop up your camera on a ladder and set the timer for 10-15 seconds.

Those pics will be 100 times better than a selfie taken in the bathroom mirror.

My girlfriend was really scared when I told her I was going to rewrite her profile. I asked her how her existing profile was working out for her, and she said it wasn't working out at all. I told her to give my profile a one month chance, and if it doesn't work, she can change it back. She agreed.

I said something like this: "I'm not into catching deer or shooting fish, but if you want, I can come with you and your pals and be the camp cook. But I ain't getting up at 3 am like you guys. Let me sleep until about 8-9 am, and when you fellas get back to camp, you'll smell the bacon cooking."

It was a lengthy profile and at the very bottom I said this: "Oh, and I'm not interested in guys who aren't willing to read the entire profile. So I won't even read your message if you don't write 'free beer' in the heading of the message."

It was a slam dunk. She got a shit-ton of messages from nice guys saying "free beer" free beer..."

The message was that if you were willing to read her entire profile, she would buy you a free beer.

She met a ton of guys, and one put a ring on her finger.

Having said that, if you're in a big city, then avoid online dating like the plague. But I've talked to guys on this site and they live in remote areas, so online dating is their only option.

I live near a city but I have a massive anxiety issue and well some out way to much information in their profile in terms of sexual stuff. But never anything about them as a person which is kinda sad. I always read the whole profile but a lot even just asking to contact on another systme like instanor just put if you want to talk messga me and or that they can't write a profile.

As for your anxiety, you need to work on that. Force yourself to go out more. Force yourself to talk to people. Talk to guys, girls and even kids. If you see a little kid with a puppy, just say: "Wow, what a cute dog. What's it's name?" The kid will love that and you both will gain from that.

The other day I delivered some coffee to a girl that worked in a nail salon. Here nails looked like three inch bear claws, but I told her they looked awesome. She was beaming with joy, and it didn't cost me a thing. You can learn to shake this anxiety shit, but you just have to take baby steps. Every time you go through the grocery check out, force yourself to say something nice to the person behind the counter.

"Do you mind if I ask you where you got those earrings? My girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and I'm really bad at coming up with ideas."

You just made her month, and it didn't cost you a dime. And... you took another step towards shedding your anxiety. You just made a woman smile, and the Earth didn't open up and swallow you.

All dating sites are shit. But POF is the largest site in the world, and it's free.

I've met lots of women online that have fell for the scams. The very handsome, rich doctor in India wants to marry you, but someone stole his wallet and he needs you to send him cash.

If you're that fucking stupid, you deserve to lose your money.

OK Cupid was the best of the bunch, but Match. com bought them and turned them into crap.
They did that because Cupid was free, and Match was not. How they turned them into crap, was that they turned them into Tinder. They used to have the most sophisticated search engine on the planet, and now it's just about swiping left or right.

If you did not want a smoker, you could just click that box. But they took all of that away, and now you just have to scroll through everyone to find a person you like. It's beyond stupid. But Match did that to eliminate the competition.

So I would recommend POF. And force yourself to contact as many women as you have time for. But don't send a generic message. Don't say: "you look hot." Because that could very well be a copy and paste that you sent out to 200 women.

Instead you let her know that you are actually talking about her: "OMG, your Yorky is so adorable. What's it's name?"

There is no way in fuck that she won't respond to that. She will love that.

Yeah I always try to adjust what I say. Like when they say they like reading I'll ask about that. And if I say anything I have a rule if you compliment someone keep it above the neck on what your saying. Like I've said to one woman that she had really pretty eyes. As I felt that would be okay.
