I was raised by a single mother. I love her more than anything on this world. She can't read, write, drive or even take care of herself without assistance. Once she's gone I'll find a single mother I can fall in love with & I'll make her mine & do everything I can to make her the happiest person on earth if she reciprocates.

I feel like I couldn't love a woman the way she deserves for a serious relationship until my mom passes (lives with me & I refuse to send her to a home). I'd rather not have my own kids but I'm good with all my friends kids. They are always amazed at how close they are towards me & the things they confide in me.

I know how some men perceive them as damaged goods but I think we are all damaged goods in reality.

Nope. I have experienced this and was not good. No matter how close you or how understanding you try to be, you will ALWAYS be second to the kids. There is also the cancer of the biological father. I learned to just valid single mothers altogether.
