If you're talking REAL zodiac derived from Zoroastrianism yes I do believe there's something to it. I would suggest anyone to do a full natal chart & read it but if you mean that westernized crap then no, the ones I used to read my mom in the paper when I was a child is solely based off of the sun sign & that's not even close to being accurate.
I'd say my full natal chart was 98% accurate. I'm a Virgo sun Pisces full moon Venus in Cancer. When I REALLY like a girl I make the effort to learn her birthdate & time if possible to get an accurate reading in an attempt to understand her better. I've found it to be that reliable.
Nowadays even the online interpreters and calculators do a good intro to who you are. Always accurate, although not very deep. I agree that we need more, we need to study how it works to get the most out of it. If you specifically want to know relationship compatibility, the sun sign is pretty much useless for that.
I wanted to add that it's not westernized crap that we have, it's that the libraries in the west were destroyed and burned by Christians, while in India they are still preserved. Before, both the east and west had equally good astrology.
Astrology is a lot of cold reading nonsense. If you are vague enough you can fit a round peg in a square hole.
However, listening to someone else going through their star charts or whatever can give you insight into how they see themselves, and that is always useful.
Your friend agreeing how they always like to plan events with little recognition gives you the opportunity to acknowledge their contributions at the next event and improve your friendship.
I think its fools folly, they are just random enough things that some of it can fit almost anyone. Basing a relationship on that seems like a very bad idea.

I feel there could be so e truth in it just because the traits of a Virgo which I am kinda describes be pretty well and traits I have and I do feel my girls with the same sign was stringer relationships even though they didn't last for different reasons.

A lot of things in life are based on astrology! It's true without any doubt! But because we lost the knowledge on this subject somewhere in the past, we have a hard time understanding life at this moment in time and people are clueless about a lot of aspects in their life. Try to learn and understand astrology, numerologie and spirituality and you will find out how important these subjects are to understand who you are and why certain things are the way they are in life 🙏

well, there might have been an eclipse or something when I was born a Leo... because they´re supposed want to be the center of attention and love the drama but I was born an extremely and painfully shy kid, to the point that when I would see my crush or other pretty girls walk towards me, I would quickly turn around and walk ALL around the classrooms to reach to the point I had go... lol

Honestly I'm not real big on astrology but a lot of personality traits seem to lign up with zodiac signs, so there's probably some truth to it. If there's consistent personality traits/characteristics with the zodiac signs, naturally some personalities will match and some not so much. I am a Pisces ♓

Your personality is more impacted by the people around you than the stars hundreds and thousands of light years away from you at the time of your birth. Heck, the gravitational pull of the closest star to our solar system is less than that of someone in the same room as you.
Well I got with an Aquarius and it said we weren't compatible and sure enough it didn't work out, next one was a Scorpio and it said we were a perfect match and I thought that we were a horrible match, and then Libra it said we could be or couldn't be but we're a good match so far I think

That sounds exceptionally far-fetched, but if there's any scientific proof, I will have a read. Not to mention, there are far more than 12 personalities. You can find two people born on the same day, in the same area, yet they will be completely different.
