Do you get no matches on dating apps?

It’s weird because I’m tall and handsome, smart and educated.
On here people thought I was attractive-really attractive.
When I start a new account for the first day I get:

I get 1 match in a day

then other times I get loads of likes.

Sometimes you don't get squat until your account expires. Then suddenly you get 10 likes and 5 messages, which you can't see without an active account. Sound familiar? But sometimes it is because your profile sucks. When I was on Plenty of Fish, I spent more time telling guys how to write a good profile than I did responding to my own matches. I know, "Dummy!". But some of them had such bad profiles no one was ever going to respond to them without help. Plus it gave me a chance to talk to them and scope them out. So there was a method to my madness. I might add a really good profile pic is key to getting responses because that is the first thing people look at. And for goodness sakes, don't post pics of you with your car, or you with other girls in the picture. All it does is put you in the round file. You don't need to impress the shallow girls with your possessions. Girls want to see you, not what you have. That can also apply to body parts. No one wants to see that on a dating site. Well maybe on Tinder or some similar site. *rolls eyes*. I might add this tidbit. There are a lot of catfishes on free sites so avoid them if you can. Sometimes I wonder if they work for the web site taking a person's time up until their subscription expires.

I got 19 matches in 45 seconds but did not acknowledge a single guy and the dating app banned me because so many guys wasted their time sending me messages and I was seen as a drain on the system and on their technology.
