He was a fat clown.
I never knew him in school. I found out after he was a class clown and made everyone laugh. He was super overweight.
My friend went to buy our tickets because we were going to go as a group and when she got there she apparently reconciled with her ex and they bought theirs together and made this fat guy buy mine. so messed up, I didn't even know the guy.

When I got off the car and saw him there waiting for me, it was a round ball with blue spiky hair waiting for me. I wanted to cry. but I put a smile and walked with him.

He told me I looked better than all the rest of the girls there, and he told everyone he had the best date. He was sweet. and then when the first song started he dragged me to the dance floor when nobody had started dancing yet. I said noooooo and he still pulled me so when I was there the spot light was on us and I felt stupid to leave so I started dancing, and all were looking at us.

in our photos I have a super straight face, and he was sad about it and bothered by it so much that he told everyone that it looked like he had a gun to my back, which made me mad. I was upset that I didn't know someone had bought my ticket without my knowledge and to top it off someone I didn't even know!! to add extra to it, while I went dressed nicely like a princess he took bright blue spiky hair.

someone else had asked me to the prom but my friend said we should go together because she didn't want to go alone only to do this to me.

I will never forget that.

Junior year I went with a guy named Ryan. We ran in the same friend circle. I think we're still Facebook friends but we aren't in touch. Even when the old high school group gets together these days he doesn't come. Not sure what he's up to.

Senior year I went with the guy I ended up marrying. We had been dating for about...5-6 months maybe? I don't remember when prom is 😂 Suffice to say, we are very much still in touch lol

I remember her. But we don't keep in touch. I went to Job Corps then collage after high school. During that time we lost contact and from what I know she had a pretty rough time. I don't even think we would recognize or know each other at this point. I know my life since high school has had a lot of twists and changes in it and I have changed in several ways. The same is probably sure for her as well.

I took my high school girlfriend to both my Jr & Sr Proms. We broke up before heading off to college and reconnected a couple times my first year of college (her second) when we were back from college. Never saw her again. Became friends on FB 20+ years later.

Yes, I remember him and the prom from hell very well. We were boyfriend and girlfriend at the time. When we got in the car to go to the prom, he fired up a joint and flicked the head off outside the window and it landed on my dress and burned a big hole in the front. So when we went to get our pictures taken, there was me with a big hole in my dress, and I had my eyes shut. He wouldn't go back in line to do them over either. He dropped some acid, drank some alcohol and was pretty messed up.
I called him about six years ago. He's married and was successful. He owns a house that is worth over 1 million dollars now.

I do, his name was Alan. I only ever dated 2 boys in my life counting my husband but Alan was someone that I went to church with and he ask me to the Prom and I went and we were a cute couple. I dated a boy in the 9th grade and then he moved away. I hooked up with him again 5 years later and he became my husband three years later.

Proms did no exist in the UK when I were in the senior year of school (1978) before I started Technical College.
They have only comparatively recently become a 'thing' over here, started in London and the South East and spread like the plague since.
