Why did he block me out of blue after saying he likes me too much? Will he come back I want my revenge?

We're in a long distance situation. He is not my boyfriend but he told me all the time he likes me so much but because of distance we never get into relationship. When I start to develop some feelings I realized that he started to pull away. And I asked him why he very good towards me then cold. He was constantly hot and cold towards me then he said we're both like that and I wasn't sure your feelings. I told him I like him too. Then we sexted. For a week he was really sweet towards me kinda boyfriend. Then out of blue he blocked me. I was shocked. Why did he block me and will he come back? Im so angry and want revenge.

I told him during our conversation if he doesn't want to talk to me we won't continue to communicate. He said that he wants to talk to me and asked me if I want to. I said yes.
