🙂 For the record, yeah it is a bit of a revenge rejection to her (I can't lie). But in a larger sense, she was really smitten with that guy, and it crashed and burned so fast. It had me questioning her commitment to ANY relationship. She was angry and aired their dirty laundry afterwards. In truth, I think that guy did me a favor. That could've been us.

I don't want to send the wrong impression. I don't think it was lust. I had talked to her enough to know her dating history. She's had a really rough go of it. I don't think at this point she's a very good judge of character. He said the right things right away and I didn't. But I can't save her from herself. I think she has a hard time trusting anyone. While I think she'd desperately like to. But at the end of the day I have to protect me. I wish her the best.

If you really like someone and enjoy them I would of gave her a second chance but really had to have a good talking with her b4 I do. See it's funny how learning one small thing can change your opinion of someone isn't it.
I said I was rejected by her so it felt good to give that back to her... that's all maybe I shouldn't have used the word revenge. It wasn't really malicious. But I guess we all see what we see.
As I said my real concern comes from seeing the dark side of her when they broke up. She was out for blood. You can rationalize it came from pain but how is that OK for her but not OK for me rejecting her back when she turned her attention to me.
This isn't the end of the world, for either of us. It just wasn't meant to be.
I don't hate her. I still want to be friends... and who knows what the future will bring. Maybe I'll grow in trust of her and her of me.
