I think it's possible for anyone to obtain anyone they desire if they're the right match. The only time I would tell someone to lower their expectations is when they set highly unrealistic ones.

I mean it's not impossible. Many examples with celebrities. Christina Hendricks, Beyonce, Tina Fay, Elizabeth Banks, Kim Kardashian, Reece Witherspoon, America Ferrera, Mary Kate Olsen, Alexis Bledel. All quite beautiful woman with fairly average looking men.
