Should I stop offering to pick up checks until this woman actually commits to dating me?

We've had four checks so far. Three of which I offered to pay, and one of which I suggested we split... but since she has not so much as kissed me after 5 dates, and wants to take thinks slow and feel it out, etc... I feel weird to continue to pay most of the time.

How about you ask her how she feels about you? Better still, offer to split the dates until you find out how she feels about you? I'm pretty sure she won't mind if she really enjoys your company.
If it's been five dates, she should be able to at least tell you if she's interested in you or not. I do understand where she's coming from: like your date, I also tend to take it slow when getting to know a guy. I don't kiss a guy off the bat, make out with him, or open up until I'm sure how I feel about him.

See ladies, THAT is exactly why I always offer to pay my own way on dates. Because most guys will instantly assume by him paying, you owe him something: be it sex, a relationship, etc...

I mean she is still spending time with me, but won’t be very specific it seems. I literally told her after the last date that we should kiss soon and she still went out with me again but didn’t want to yet. So I don’t know

She's not ready. You can't rush a first kiss, especially if she's shy or unsure about how she feels. Just be patient.

In the meantime, I DO suggest you tell her you should split the cost of the dates, or pay her own way. If she's really into you, she probably won't mind

Lately I’ve actually made money off that, but it’s dangerous and I can’t keep doing it. Whatever the bill costs I’ll put it on blackjack and if I lose I’ll double it. So far I’ve escaped disaster but I need to stop because eventually my luck is going to run out

The check came when I was in the bathroom so I was confused if she had paid for it or not. But normally she casually offers like how do you want to do this? But I paid for the first second and fourth ones. The third one we split
