When is it acceptable for the woman to pay on dates?

Hello All,

I have been dating this girl for about a month now. She has been wonderful so far but there is one thing that I cannot come to terms with is how we pay for things. I have paid for every single date we’ve had so far.

We have had 3 dates so far. I have paid for all 3 of them. All 3 of these in less than a month has costed me about $550. She makes $8 more an hour than I do until I finish my degree in December. Last night I spent about $225 on our date and then she asked me if I could withdraw some cash so we could go to the casino and I changed the subject because I don’t want her to know I literally just blew what I had left.

I don’t think she knows how much these are costing me even though she has looked at all the checks I’ve gotten from these places. Especially last night you would think she would offer just a little bit to help after she saw how much it was. If that was me I’d feel bad if someone spent that much on me. Throughout the week she will ask me to buy her lunch or she made a comment last week saying you could always send me something to my house I love opening packages.

Maybe I should just cut my losses as this will never work. I really don’t want to bring it up at the risk of sounding broke but with current inflation, paying for schooling, and housing costs I’m already struggling. What should I do?
