Just got out of such a relationship, he was 5.5 1/2 and I’m 5’7. I went into it trying to look past his height because he came off as such a great guy in every other area. It didn’t take long for him to show his true colors and get very toxic in jealousy and short temper. I’ve heard shorter men usually have worst attitudes Bc they’ve had to defend height for their whole lives and be bullied, which I now think is correct. I always felt bigger than him even tho I’m not big he’s just small in stature so I’d be bigger no matter what. I also didn’t feel protected because if a guy come hit on me in the bar or out in general he stayed quiet or laughed off. I never had a boyfriend who didn’t have my back.

I am not in one now, but my exboyfriend was almost 2 inches shorter than I and HE was the one with the issue. It didn't bother me because I liked him a lot, but he was very insecure about it and that insecurity coupled with his whining about it made him less and less appealing.

I have. People have looked at us weird but we didn’t card. My ex is 5’7” and I’m 6’4” and his personality captured my heart and we fell in love. Unfortunately we’re no longer together because he was “emasculated” by my height and treated me so bad because I embarrassed him for being tall. Dating is difficult for me.

I'm so sorry to hear that. This question was from my previous account. I really hope you find someone who can look past the height difference and focus on the person behind that height. I'm 5'10. My ex girlfriend was 6'2. I would often encourage her to wear heels because i knew she liked it but was hesitant. It was the best relationship ever. We were in love. But she couldn't take it anymore because of it becoming long distance often because of my travels due to business.

No not really any challenges. Well one time she wore really high heels and I accidentally elbowed her in the boob trying to put my arm around her lol. But that was mostly the heels. We're within 2" of each other.
