What should I do if my friends with benefits from another country keeps coming back?

There was this one time I got into a friends with benefits with this guy but he was a complete weirdo/jerk and I want nothing to do with him anymore as I'm seeing a nicer guy I really like instead and actually wants a relationship

It's really simple. Don't talk to him. He can't come back unless you let him right? If he was a jerk like you say, it prolly wasn't worth it anyway regardless of what you "used each other" for so to speak. You have the almighty power of free will. It is what it is no?

Yes, I can't be bothered with his behaviour plus I only wanted to try casual at least once but I'm not about that anymore and I'm seeing someone else for something more

If you think he'd be difficult and try to stir up trouble explain your situation to the nice guy you're seeing.

I know I will feel bad for the nice guy I'm seeing. I've stopped talking to him for weeks tho surely he has got the hint I'm not interested in that nonsense

Just be honest and tell him that you no longer wish to continue this arrangement. "Thanks for the fun, but this is goodbye" kind of thing lol

Might have to be a bit more firm (tone) and direct about it now? "I was serious about this ending, please stop coming around" or something like that (but you can still say this "nicely", but more seriously. I don't agree with ghosting (as many are suggesting), but after telling him twice, then it would be "justified" lol. Even ask him if you need to get the police involved? (if he's harassing you that badly? Just the threat of it, to let him know you mean business and aren't fooling around or changing your mind).
