My girlfriend is from another country, and there is a chance she may have to go back and I’m not sure what to do?

I’ve been dating my girlfriend for about 6 months officially. This is by far the happiest I’ve been in a relationship, and I love her. A few months ago she mentioned there was a chance she may have to move to another state for work and asked if I was willing to move with her. I said I was. She is part of a program that moves her around and is sort of a glorified internship, and it’s starting to sound like the job prospects aren’t looking good. She was hoping to stay local and wasn’t looking into the out of state jobs much. She has mentioned that one of her superiors in the program mentioned she may be repatriated.

She has briefly hinted at marriage, which I am absolutely not ready for right now, I love her very much and I could absolutely see myself marrying her, but I don’t want this to be an underlying reason we get married, on top of it being a fairly new relationship.

I was willing to move within the states, but I don’t think I can move to another country, for a variety of reasons. I am just not sure what to do, I’m scared I’ll lose her and it’s heartbreaking to me that it’s something out of our control. Have any of you been through this?
