If that would be the case, then the only option for me would be to sever this relation.
I am currently studying and I will not abandon my studies just to move abroad to a place that does probably not have such a good education system and universities.
I am not willing to sacrifice all that hardships I had to go through to reach and achieve what I have achieved to move to an insecure and totally foreign place where I may even be subjected to xenophobia and denials.
That potential scenario is also one that prevents me to date or want to be in a relation.

Mine migrated *from* another country. If he wanted to leave the U. S., I'd be disappointed and big him farewell. I'm staying right here.

If not, then we'll try long distance, and I could imagine it not working.
I wouldn't be involved with them anymore. Breaking up with them will give you peace of mind eventually
