How do I tell the guy I’ve been ‘talking to’ that I’m a stripper?

The job topic came up and I said I worked at a club, he asked if I was a bartender or something and I just said yes. I shouldn’t have lied but I want to be honest before things progress any further

Okay, in my opinion, the best way to go about it is you start off by acknowledging you lied in the first place.

1.) Acknowledge you lied to him
2.) Tell him you're a stripper
3.) Tell him why you lied.

Don't feel bad about doing this either, clearly you're a good person because you can't keep living it and if he's a good person, he'll respect that you came forward with it.

Now I can't guarantee how he'll react, but he's going to appreciate the truth regardless.
It would be best to tell him in-person - don't drop this info via text.

I think its ok to go out a few times first but id come clean sooner than later. Just say it. Either he will accept it or he won't.
