Why is my ex boyfriend telling everyone I'm obsessed with him when I couldn't care less?

He is going round telling people I was "in love with him way more than he wanted me" (I wasn't in love first of all we dated for 3 months), he is saying I'm "stalking him and obsessed with him" and saying he can "get any girl he wants." I've actually got him blocked on all socials and do not give a monkeys about him and his feelings, and I heard this from mutual friends. I had to CONVINCE myself to like him at the start cos he wasn't really my type at first, but he's acting like he's god's gift. Why is he acting like this?

Plus, HE is the one who kept pursuing me throughout the relationship and said all these soppy things, yes I liked him not I wasn't in love like he is telling everyone I was. He is now telling everyone he "never said he liked me and never liked me" lol. And that I'm in love with him. What is his problem
