Where do you meet someone these days? I kind of feel lost because it's been so long?

I was with my ex for 15 years. She decided that the grass looked greener on the other side.. Anyways. I've been single for almost a year and a half now and theses dating sites have been pretty useless for me. Plus my "baby momma" 😂😂 tells me that basically guys are like bit€e$ now and I'm more old fashioned I guess. Any advise would be helpful at this point

I’ve never done online dating. Not something I was interested in so hard to blame you there. It is too impersonal in my opinion. I’d stay away from that as you’ve already found out.

15 years is a long, long time. Did you just break up recently? If so, might be good to take some time for yourself and break from dating until you’re over her completely. If you are past that point, then maybe look for some local activity groups that interest you.

This is my go to advice because you will meet people with similar interests. Easy to talk to someone that already shares a passion/interest. Plus, lots of those groups/clubs are free and meet often. Just my suggestion.

I'm pretty sure I said I've been single for a year and a half? Maybe I left it out. Either way. It definitely took some time. But I think I'm ready again. I don't know. The girl I was with before her was like a four year relationship and she still tells me she loves me. I don't know... Lol

You’ve seemed to completely ignore that and talk about something you DID leave out of your details. This girl that you were with before her for four years. How am I supposed to know that?

If this girl you were with before has feelings and so do you, why not go out on a date and see if that connection is still there? It’s worth a shot at least.

Obviously you had something there if you were together for four years. Not exactly a short time, right? Perhaps she has realized what she lost after all that time.

Unfortunately I don’t have advice because I haven’t been single for 12 years. But my husband and I both say it would be so hard to date in today’s world. I really wish you luck! Fighting!
