If a daughter is of legal age: 18 or older, she is an adult. Though I would be loath to accept that my 18 year old is dating a 36, or 46 or 56 year old, as long as the person was respectful when they arrived to pick her up on a date, I'd have to allow it.
If you ban such a relationship, it's simply going to make it seem that much more attractive, especially to a young person.
There are a dozen reasons why a very young woman would choose someone far older than she is: no father at home, looking for financial security and more.
I wouldn't like it and I'd give her my thoughts on it. But that's about all you can do.
I guess it depends. If she was still a minor I would want her away from that perv. But if she was already an adult I think she has the right to decide for herself.
No such thing as "Let" it is their life I wouldn't be nor should be controlling it. Therefore she will be with them if that's what she wants.
