Are these signs a guy might slightly like you?

I met this guy via an online dating site on June 10th, and we met on June 18th; with that being said, he acts incredibly stiff and a bit nervous around me and shy.

Via text, he flirts, uses lots of emojis and shares with me what he hopes we can do together, like visit his family's cabin, visit restaurants etc. For example, yesterday, I mentioned I had never tried butter chicken; he then told me there was a restaurant near his home that had delicious butter chicken that he had tried twice and wanted to take me there.

So now I'm a bit confused because he is so stiff in person. Even the last time we went on a date, he seemed a bit awkward around me, and he picked me up and drove me home and was a bit quiet, but we did have a good conversation flow, and we have been on a total of 3 dates that are a mix of movies, mini golfing and dinners.

We haven't kissed but have given each other very short hugs like four awkward times, lol.

So now I'm not sure if this is usually that a guy is nervous, maybe he is a bit shy, or if these are signs he is interested and how I make him less nervous.

I think that he is just nervous, maybe he doesn't want you to feel uncomfortable.
Try making the first move, the worst that can happen is that he says he is not interested, but based on what you wrote, i think he is really interested, so yeah, make the first move and see if he feels more relaxed after that.
And if you too are too shy to initiate, try touching him more, that's a clear sign that you like someone, grab lightly his arm to get his attention, brush your hand with his while walking, and if you are sitting side by side try putting your hand in his forearm or on his thigh if you are daring.
