When it comes to dating, what are the biggest hints or clues that you've missed in the past?

One embarrassing "hint" that completely went over my head at the time:

I was on the second or third date with a girl and was over at her house while her parents were gone. It was a big old two story house and we were in the living room talking before we went out. She showed me a hole in the ceiling and said that that hole went right into her bedroom and that I better not look. So I didn't.🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

One date I went on with a gorgeous woman who was visiting from overseas with her family. I was really shy and I think she picked up on the fact that I was too nervous to make a move, so she said “I’m just going to go meet my brother because he needs me and then I’ll be back”. I waited about 4 hours before realising she had ditched me and wasn’t coming back.

Awwww... that sucks. I hope like everyone always says in situations like this, at least you found out early that you weren't compatible.

I knew it would be a one time thing. She wasn’t in town for long. When I matched with her on tinder I thought I was being catfished as she was drop dead gorgeous and I’m not the best looking. So in a way I’m just glad we got to meet up for drinks and have a nice evening before she ditched me.

I have no idea I only been on a couple of dates but they just stopped talking to me afterwards 🙃
