Dating someone who doesn't like you. Because you're aware of them not giving a fuck if you cooked them dinner or brought them daisies, you know they're just doing it because dating doesn't have to be anything serious for them. And you're still dating a person like that!

The other one is pretty pathetic too. Not as much the above one, but yeah — why pity date? Some might say "just to see if we have chemistry", and I'd tell them set a deadline — if you don't feel anything on the fourth date with them, you tell them! Trial dating helps.

I don't know about 'pathetic' since dating someone that doesn't like you will have you doing the most pathetic things for them. However, you will still feel good about it. In many cases the feelings you get will make acting like that worthwhile. Dating someone you don't like will not have you do anything that could hurt you but you will often feel guilty or irritated with no reward other than them doing nice things for you. Both options are shitty but they said it's better to have loved and lost than not loved at all and I mainly agree.

I think honestly dating someone who you don’t like isn’t pathetic, it’s a assh*le behaviour. It requires a high dose of bullsh*tting attitude!


On the other hand, dating someone who don’t pay back your sentiment is really pathetic and devastating, I went through that and I regret a lot that choice.

I dated a friend of mine I wasn't really into. Why? Because we hung out all the time and she was always begging me, giving me sexual favors, and I wasn't dating anyone else so I tried it out. I mean, we were friends so I wouldn't say "I didn't like her" so much as "I didn't want her as a girlfriend/I didn't like her like that.".
