A woman asked if I have more than one woman at a time?

I was having lunch at work with a friend of a lady who has shown interest in me. Whilst having lunch, she spoke of news stories back home in Jamaica about a partner of a guy who murdered his mistress.

To keep it short, she said Jamaican men have more than one woman on the go at any one time. Whilst smiling at me in a joking way, she then asked me whether I see more than one woman at a time and whether I have flings even when in a relationship. I started laughing and she said that I do have more than one woman at a time. Essentially, she was asking if I was a player.

Important to note, she is a lot older than me, but her friend who has shown interest is my age.

Would a woman ask that sort of thing if they or someone they know was not interested in you? Seems random thing to ask someone otherwise.

From my understanding, if a woman calls a guy a player it means high interest. This comes from dating gurus. If you aren't seeing other women, it means low value and likely to turn the woman off, as opposed to more attracted if she has competition
